Rosemary Hodgson maintains a vibrant career as one of Australia's leading lutenists.

Specialising in the performance of historic guitars and lutes, she is regularly engaged in major festivals and concert series throughout Australia and abroad.

Rosemary is a dedicated teacher of the lute and related instruments and also conducts workshops and Master classes in historic performance practice.

In addition to free-lance continuo playing, Rosemary is a member of Duo Seria, Rosa Mundi and La Compañía. Her latest release, Forlorn Hope Fancy — renaissance dances and fantasies for lute — is her solo debut on the ABC Classics label and has received stunning reviews.
